Champions Live Here Spotlight: BOSS, CAF, College Match, CBI, Covenant House CA

As part of our ongoing series of highlights from the new Super Bowl LVI Legacy Program – Champions Live Here – we’re featuring these incredible local nonprofits and their work in the community: Business Of Student Success (BOSS), The Challenged Athletes Foundation, College Match, Community Build Inc., and Covenant House California.

Annenberg Alchemy is proud to welcome the 56 Champion organizations from this program for specialized nonprofit training after the Super Bowl.

Business Of Student Success (BOSS) equips Boys – especially Boys Of Color – with the tools to succeed in school, in the community, and professionally, with an emphasis on STEAM, critical thinking/writing and related fields. BOSS also leverages the power of sport to inspire boys to pursue greatness.

The Challenged Athletes Foundation provides opportunities and support to people with physical challenges, so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics – increasing self-esteem, encouraging independence, and enhancing quality of life.

College Match helps talented students from low-income families get into and graduate from the nation’s top colleges and universities. Each student is assigned a dedicated college counselor to guide them through the process from application to graduation.

Through investment in youth and commercial development, Community Build Inc. provides comprehensive and wrap-around services for at-risk, out-of-school, foster, gang-involved and first-generation college bound youth.

Covenant House California is a youth homeless shelter that provides sanctuary and support for homeless and trafficked youth, ages 18-24. They believe that no young person deserves to be homeless; that every young person in California deserves shelter, food, clothing, education – and most importantly, to be loved.
