Self-Help Graphics + La Casa del Tunel + The Metabolic Studio

Give the Gift of Limited Edition Artworks this season!

This holiday season, we invite your support of a unique art project that arose from an artistic dialogue between organizations on both sides of the border with Mexico.

Featuring established as well as emerging artists, the exhibit and sale of prints was organized by artist and Trustee Lauren Bon.

Chora Prints, 2008: New Political Posters From TJ2LA / Nuevos Posters Políticos: de TJ a LA is a collection of issue-oriented artworks made by artists based in and around both Los Angeles, California, and Tijuana, Mexico. The prints are currently on display near downtown Los Angeles, at the Metabolic Studio, located at 1745 N. Spring Street #4. The images were previously exhibited in Tijuana by La Casa del Tunel at Art Center, located at Calle Chapo Marquez 133 Col. Federal.

Each print was beautifully produced and hand-printed by master printers Jose Diaz, for Casa Del Tunel: Art Center and Joe Apuche, for Self-Help Graphics. Participating artists include 2cent, John Carr, Ofelia Esparaza, Ruben Esparza, Brandy Flower, Ak-Ami, Miguel Angel Reyes, Jose Ramirez, Maria del Carmen Arroyo, Mely Barragan, Alvaro Blancarte, Luis Garzon, Alfredo Gutierrez, Noni Olabisi, Roberto Rosique, Daniel Ruanova, Sandow Birk, Lauren Bon, Mark Bradford, George Herms, Qingyun Ma, and Rich Neilson.

Limited Edition hand-signed prints are available for sale at http://www.chora.info/pages/purchaseprints.html.
