Wallis Annenberg and the Annenberg Foundation today announced the Annenberg Space for Photography exhibition REFUGEE, featuring new photographic artworks that illuminate the global refugee crisis. In images created solely for the exhibition by five internationally acclaimed artists—Lynsey AddarioOmar Victor Diop, Graciela IturbideMartin Schoeller, and Tom StoddartREFUGEE will represent the lives of refugees from a host of diverse populations dispersed and displaced throughout the world, through photographs taken in Bangladesh, Cameroon, Colombia, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Mexico, Myanmar, Serbia, Slovenia, and the United States.

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 3, 2015)--The Annenberg Space for Photography today announced a photographic interpretation of life on Earth from the Big Bang to the present by acclaimed National Geographic photographer Frans Lanting. LIFE: A Journey Through Time is based on Lanting's epic, multi-year project and features more than 70 images with texts and stories about the works, as well as an innovative timeline of life on our planet. Exclusive to the traveling exhibition's presentation at the Annenberg Space for Photography are an original documentary short film and four short videos that explore the human connection to life around us. The Annenberg Foundation and KCRW are pleased to announce the lineup for Sound in Focus, a free, all-ages concert series inspired by the Emerging exhibition at the Annenberg Space for Photography.  Organized in partnership with Photo District News (PDN), the award-winning publication for professional photographers, Emerging presents images by more than 90 emerging photographers from around the world who bring fresh perspectives and creative techniques to professional photography. This exhibition explores how a new generation of photographers examines a variety of topics, from the personal to the global: youth culture, family, the environment, economic uncertainty, conflict and civil unrest, and the nature of the photographic image.

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 22, 2015) - The Annenberg Space for Photography Skylight Studios today announced the June 6 opening of Emerging Experience The multimedia installation, which includes a Gravity Room, is a playful and engaging experience that merges fantasy and reality.  Imagery will focus on three different themes:  Taste (June 6 - July 12), Sound (July 13 - August 16) and Style (August 17 - September 20).
